Peanut Butter and Perspective

Recently while shopping for peanut butter in our then being reset Target Store, I found myself unable to find any of the organic smooth kind. Just organic peanuts and salt. Nothing else added.
The shelves were kind of empty, because they were expanding the grocery section and hadn't fully stocked the store yet.
As I was searching for my peanut butter, out of the corner of my eye I saw a young man come riding up toward me in a sporty wheelchair. At first, because the aisle was kind of narrow, I thought about moving out of his way. But then for some reason I decided maybe he might need my help since the shelves were in such disarray; most of the peanut butter was either on the top shelf or the very bottom. I guess I thought I had a better perspective on the peanut butter selection than he did, what with my standing and his sitting. (The assumptions we make...Well, the assumptions I make...)

Looking things over, he said with a shrug,
"Not much to choose from, is there?"
"Looks like no organic," I said with a sigh.
So grabbed a jar of the closest thing to what I wanted there on the middle shelf and said farewell.PSCB
"Have a nice day," he said. Then I headed off to find the Cheerios.
After I'd gone about twenty feet, I heard him call,
"Miss! Come back!"
I knew he must need my help! I was right after all...

Walking back in his direction I saw he had a jar of peanut butter in his hand.
"Look! Found one! " he said, waggling it back and forth in his hand.
"See? Organic like you were looking for."
He handed me the organic, took the jar I had and put it back on the shelf.
I thanked him and looked at the label: Organic peanuts and sea salt. Just what I wanted and hadn't been able to see.
As I turned to leave, I said,
"Where'd you find it?"
"Up there," he pointed. "Top shelf. I guess you just didn't see it."

From that day on, I have endeavored to make sure I don't think I have the only-- nor do I even have a correct--perspective on everything.
