S.NITE
When people ask me which of my cards are my favorites, I usually answer that it's like asking which of my children is my favorite. I don't have favorites. I love them all.
But I do have some cards that have interesting histories and particular traits I really enjoy sharing.
Like the card S.NITE
I named it for a friend of mine named Sue. She's one of those friends just the sight of whom makes you feel better. She's good for what ails you, as they say.
The card has a pink band-aid on it. The text reads:
"If only…this would help."
It's my idea of the perfect get-well or wish you well card. It doesn't command the recipient to get well. It just expresses the wish that the band aid would work magic. Because wouldn't it be so wonderful if a band-aid placed just so made every boo-boo or hurt or illness vanish? If only this would help. Think if we could walk around with a box of band aids and hand them out for every human hurt? For broken arms and hearts, for skinned knees and bruised feelings, for fevers and colds.
I think that would be divine.
That's the story of my dear S.NITE!
